Job Description
The Community Engagement Manager is the face of Hotel Local Dubai, Jumeirah Village Triangle, Autograph Collection within the Jumeirah Village Triangle community and surrounding areas. The role is responsible for building awareness, developing partnerships, increasing footfall to the hotel's restaurants and facilities, supporting occupancy and positioning the hotel as the preferred lifestyle destination for residents and visitors. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Rooms and F&B to bring the hotel's 'Exactly Like Nothing Else' promise to life.
- Build relationships with the Jumeirah Village Triangle community, local businesses, schools, gyms and community groups.
- Promote the hotels restaurants, spa, events, memberships and staycation offers.
- Drive community awareness through networking, partnerships and social media.
- Support Marketing with community-focused campaigns and content.
- Coordinate community events, activations and seasonal programs.
- Identify new partnership and revenue opportunities.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Rooms, Spa and F&B.
- Maintain a visible presence within the hotel and community.
- Gather feedback from residents and guests.
- Represent the hotel at networking and community events.
- Support the hotels presence across Facebook, Instagram and other community platforms by promoting events, offers and activations, while engaging with the local Jumeirah Village Triangle community to drive awareness and business.
Desired Skill & Expertise
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality, lifestyle, retail, sales, marketing or community engagement is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
- Commercially minded, with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest experiences.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and community engagement channels.
- Knowledge of the Dubai lifestyle and local market is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate events, partnerships and community initiatives.
- Comfortable engaging with guests, residents, businesses and community groups on a daily basis
